We still need to look at the results, everything depends on the "achievements".Tianzhou Medical is an enterprise that develops many international progressiveness products and focuses on the manufacturing of high-end lotion pump daily chemical packaging products and pharmaceutical packaging products. We now have over 100 international and domestic patents, making us a patent powerhouse. Its brother enterprise Taixing Kaiguang Plastic Co., Ltd. has become a professional supplier of international famous brands such as Unilever, Johnson&Johnson, Nivea, Amway, Kao, Avon, L'Oreal, Henkel, Colgate, etc.Keeping up with the pulse of circular economyIn an interview, Mr. Ding mentioned to the editor that he had been engaged in lotion pumps in the pastIn 2005, I met a Japanese friend who said that every year, it is estimated that tens of billions of pump heads are consumed and discarded in China. Its recycling will solve the problem of Plastic pollution, so it is particularly important to make lotion pumps easy to recycle.In 2007, we applied for the first patent, called "Lotion Pump and the Check Valve", which can be made of single material PP or PE. This pump design removes the spring and also eliminates the automatic reset function after being pressed.Mr. Ding sighed and said, "It's really not easy to make it pop up automatically. In the past 15 or 16 years, I have always adhered to the development of environmentally friendly, high-performance, easy to recycle pump heads, which is also a good decision for enterprises in the design, manufacturing and development of lotion pumps."He abstracted two points: "The Circular Economy Promotion Law of the China in 2008 was issued by the first leader, which involves carbon emissions, resource utilization, environment and other aspects. This document is an attempt to develop the circular economy in the form of legal management, which shows that the country attaches great importance to the recycling development of renewable resources of production enterprises.There is another provision in the law that motivates me to steadfastly continue to do this - to design a fully plastic pump. The document emphasizes that enterprises producing products or packaging that have been included in the mandatory recycling list must be responsible for recycling discarded products or packaging. Simply put, this policy means whoever produces, who recycles, and it cannot be ignored. Since then, there have been legal regulations in the industry. Although plastic waste management has not yet utilized this tool, inspired by these two events, the research and development of all plastic pumps has also been put on the agendaThe domestic and foreign markets have undergone repeated trials and tribulations on "all plastic pumps"The labels "metal free spring", "single material", "PCR", and "recyclable" make its development not easy. At the same time, the basic performance of metal springs such as "automatic reset function", "lower lock function", and "multiple repeated presses" cannot be missed.Despite this, its uniqueness cannot be ignored, thanks to Mr. Ding's mastery of multiple fields and two important design inspirations emanating from it!"A generation of Tianjiao, Genghis Khan, only knows how to shoot big sculptures with bent bows."The unique elastic reset mechanism design of the full plastic pump, with its underlying principle similar to the "bending bow", also achieves a leap in "reducing plastic". In the experiment, it can be repeatedly pressed for over 2000 times. Usually, the pump head of 1L daily chemical products is used 300 times. A fully plastic pump head can pump out 6 bottles of liquid, and its repeated use can theoretically reduce plastic waste by 83%. Completely made of a single material, it can be directly crushed and recycled at the recycling and regeneration end without the need for disassembly. The use of synthetic resin is also reduced by 5/6, which is bound to be recognized by international brand companies.Repeated compression experimentOperating principle of automobile clutch: close when in use and separate when not in useAnd the pump wants to have a lower lock function, which is locked before use to prevent leakage, and the transportation process meets e-commerce requirements. In this way, the plastic spring is severely compressed and needs to be compressed to the bottom dead center. Compared with the spring of the traditional lotion pump, it is too delicate and will be seriously damaged after long-term compression.After design, the plastic spring is placed in the bottle and in a relaxed state when not in use. The lock head is pressed to the bottom but not pressed against the spring, and the reset mechanism is convenient for deformation by utilizing sufficient space in the bottle.From then on, the "all plastic pump" has all the functions of a metal spring pump, and the test data is comparable. It also has recyclable and renewable products. In addition, an important application of full plastic itself is that fluoride is often present in toothpaste, which can have a certain degree of corrosion to metals. Full plastic pumps have corrosion resistance and can be used for toothpaste packaging.The design concept of "all plastic pump" is in line with the development ideas of the "Guidelines for Recyclable and Renewable Design of Plastic Products"The significance of the Design Guide for Recyclable and Renewable Plastic Products (hereinafter referred to as the Design Guide) is to help upstream enterprises to improve their product design and make it easier to recycle and regenerate under the social responsibility of Plastic pollution control.The design of all plastic pump products has the characteristic of single material manufacturing, which is consistent with the use of a single base resin as the design basis in the "Design Guidelines". Adding a certain proportion of PCR recycled materials to the design product is beneficial for achieving closed-loop utilization of plastic resources.On December 27th, two design guidelines for the recyclability and regeneration of PET and HDPE products were publicly announced and opinions were solicited from the whole society, which received recognition and support from all sectors of society. At the same time, the association will conduct an evaluation of recyclable and recyclable design based on the published "Guidelines for the Design of Recyclable and Recyclable Plastic Products". Numerous packaging brand merchants actively consult and evaluate various matters related to the service, and multiple brands have already participated in the evaluation work.
